Kathy Stroud

After graduating from the University of Sunshine Coast in 2004 with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting, Kathy Stroud and her father, Kevin, decided that the real estate industry was an exciting business opportunity thus opening the Stockdale & Leggo Caloundra in 2002. Since launching, Kathy and her father have grown and developed a successful company alongside a wonderful and dedicated team. Kathy’s role in the organisation is to oversee the day to day running of both the Sales and Property Management departments, where she likes to take a hands-on approach to ensure the business is running effectively and efficiently. In 2005 and 2006 she was recognised for her skill and received the Queensland ‘Award for Excellence’ in administration which is an outstanding achievement.

Kathy thrives on the diversity and challenges that arise within being a manager and business owner and believes the key to her success has been unparalleled customer service, high attention to detail, and consistently upskilling and training her team, empowering them to grow within their roles so they can achieve both their personal goals alongside their team objectives.

In her personal time, Kathy enjoys spending quality time with her two daughters, Sophie and Chloe and is consistently overwhelmed with the support received by her team as they continue to step up into her role, allowing her time to experience the joys of being a mother. Having lived and worked on the Sunshine Coast for most of her life she enjoys the beautiful warm summer days at the beach to relax and unwind some of the stresses of being a full-time mother and business owner.
